Traditionally, this event mark the end of the summer-season for the sheep. They are herded down to Kveven ( in Norwegian, Kvæven)for the shilling. However, this year these dates collides with the hunting season in the mountains, so there will be no sheep at the fair, but there will be a lot of entertainment, local food and produce and great fun!
